Who can apply for the fashion designing courses at NSAM?
Students who have completed or are appearing for their 10th or 12th exams, graduates from any stream looking for a creative career, and working professionals who want to move into fashion. Each programme has its own eligibility — our counsellors will map you to the right one.
Is this course suitable after 12th?
Yes. After 12th you can join the UG Degree, Advanced Diploma or Diploma in Fashion Designing depending on how much time you want to invest and the depth of specialisation you're looking for.
Are internships provided?
Industry internships are part of the learning journey, supported by live projects with brands, industrial visits and our design network across Mumbai and Navi Mumbai.
What is the duration of the programmes?
Diploma is 1 year, Advanced Diploma 2 years, PG Diploma 1 year, UG Degree 3–4 years and the Masters programme 2 years.
Do I need prior drawing experience?
No. We start from design fundamentals and fashion illustration basics. Many of our strongest students joined without any formal drawing background.
Is placement assistance available?
Yes — portfolio reviews, interview preparation, industry networking and placement assistance are part of the mentor-mentee programme.
