Fashion Management is the strategic backbone of the global fashion industry. While designers create, fashion managers lead— rchestrating brand strategies, managing supply chains, analyzing market trends, executing retail operations, and building the business empires that bring fashion to the world. In an industry worth trillions globally and rapidly expanding in India, the demand for skilled fashion managers who understand both business acumen and fashion sensibility has never been higher.
At NSAM, the Fashion Management programme is designed for those who see fashion as not just
an art form, but a powerful business ecosystem. Affiliated to Swami Vivekanand University (UGC
Approved) and partnered with Milan Institute of Fashion (IMB Burgo) , our curriculum blends core business principles with fashion-specific expertise. Whether you’re strategizing for luxury brands, managing retail operations, or launching your own fashion venture, NSAM equips you with the knowledge, networks, and real-world experience to lead in this dynamic industry.

A general BBA teaches you to sell anything; we teach you to sell Fashion. Fashion has unique cycles, supply chains, and consumer psychologies that a generic degree misses. Recruiters like Reliance Retail and Aditya Birla prefer candidates who already understand “Visual Merchandising” and “Trend Forecasting” over general graduates they have to train from scratch. Specialized training often commands a higher starting salary because you are “plug-and-play” ready .
Absolutely. You are the Brain behind the Brand, not the artist. You don’t need to sketch; you need to strategize. We teach you Retail Operations, Buying, and Supply Chain Management. If you prefer Excel sheets and strategy decks over sketchbooks, this is your home.
It’s “Applied Math,” not scary calculus. You will learn Retail Math (calculating profit margins, inventory turnover) and Data Analytics (using tools like Tableau and Power BI). We teach it in the context of fashion—like pricing a new collection or analyzing sales trends—so it feels practical and relevant, not abstract.
Luxury is a global language. Through our partnership with IMB Burgo (Milan), you gain a global perspective on Luxury Brand Management. You get a certification from Milan alongside your degree, which is a massive trust signal when applying to international luxury houses or export firms.
This is literally the blueprint for it. We don’t just teach theory; we teach Fashion Entrepreneurship. You will learn to create a business plan, manage a supply chain, and handle legal compliance. By graduation, you won’t just have a degree; you’ll have a launch strategy.
You aren’t limited to just fashion designers. You are hired by Retail Giants (Reliance, Tata), E-commerce Platforms (Myntra, Ajio), and Export Houses. Our alumni work as Buyers, Merchandisers, and Store Managers for brands like Zudio, H&M, and Zara.
Real projects. You will work on Live Retail Briefs, manage logistics for our fashion show Défilé De Mode, and execute marketing campaigns for actual brands. Plus, a professional internship is mandatory, ensuring you have industry experience on your CV before you graduate
