1. Walk-in Procedure
- The students are always welcome at our main office to get the necessary details and seek help from the counselor’s desk.
- You can buy the application form available at the front office.
- Fill up the application form carefully.
- A suitably filled application should be submitted along with two recently clicked passport-size photographs.
- At NSAM, the fee payment is accepted either in cash/cheque on the same date or at least registration.
- This confirms the enrollment procedure. Students are personally informed about the date of commencement of their course.
2. Register-Online Schedule
- The prospective candidates can get details regarding their choice of course either by connecting through a call to our counselor or from our website.
- The candidate can fill out the application form online and submit the same.
- The acceptable fee mode for the online application form is cheque/ D.D.
- This confirms the online enrollment procedure. Candidates are personally keeping posted about the date of commencement of their course.

Here at NSAM, we follow general rules for admission carrying any valuable items to the institute premises (campus or class) will be at the risk of the candidate and we will not accept any responsibility for such things.
Students are required to read the notices put on the notice board of the Institute regularly. Institute shall not accept any responsibility for any loss / damage incurred by a student owing to her failure to read the notices in time.
A. Disciplinary Rules and Regulations: –
A student who acts or behaves in a way that is contrary to the Code of Conduct will be seen to have committed a Breach of Conduct. This shall include improper and unacceptable interference with the functioning or activities of NSAM, inappropriate behaviour towards those who work or study at NSAM, and any action which otherwise damages the reputation of NSAM.
A.1. A breach of conduct may constitute a criminal offence under the following circumstances:
- Stealing or abetting theft on NSAM premise.
- Physical harm to any member of the NSAM community.
- Dishonesty, Cheating, Threatening, etc.
- Damage to the goodwill of NSAM, members of the NSAM community or self.
A.2. Acts of Indiscipline –
Any student found misbehaving in the class, lab, campus and behaving arrogantly with the faculty and or staff or fellow students will be fined or a strict action will be taken. The nature of the punishment will depend upon the severity of the offence. Breach of Conduct shall include the following acts of indiscipline and shall invite penalty/disciplinary action.
- Disobedience.
- Objectionable moral influence.
- Improper body language.
- Misuse of NSAM’s property.
- Back answering.
- Disclosing any kind of important data.
- Mass absenteeism or boycott of classes.
- Sexual harassment or discrimination.
- Insubordination, etc.
Note: – All disputes pertaining to sale of prospectus, conduct of examination and admissions to the Institute shall fall within the jurisdiction of Mumbai, Maharashtra only.
A.3. Ragging
Ragging is strictly banned in NSAM premises, including the entire whole are of campus. Ragging is a major disciplinary violation and the offenders (direct or indirect) will bear consequences as per guidelines laid by the Supreme Court in its ruling on the subject. Any complaints on this issue are to be made to the respective Committee of NSAM for action.
A.4. Any kind of Damage
Students are required to show due regard for the rights and the properties of the Institute. Any student found guilty of tampering / damaging the property, fixtures, equipment, furniture, books, building, vehicles, etc. of the institute / society, shall be liable for punishment and might be expelled from the Institute.
B. Academics
B.1. Permanent Identity Number & Identity Card
- The student is issued a Permanent Identity Number (PIN) for the period of study at NSAM at the time of admission. The PIN shall be used in all the correspondence between the student and the Institute.
- Photo Identity Card is issued to the student at the time of Registration for the period of study at NSAM. The identity card should be carried by the students at all times and presented on demand. Misuse of the identity card and /or any tampering or forgery shall lead to disciplinary action.
- In case of loss, damage, overwriting or change in particulars of the identity card, the Secretary/Deputy Registrar (Academics) is to be informed immediately. It should be reported immediately to the office. Rs.300/- will be charged for issuing a duplicate I card.
- The identity card must be surrendered on completion of the course along with the ‘No Dues Certificate’.
B.2. Co-Curricular Activities
- Students are encouraged to take active part in various club activities and co-curricular activities, as these are absolutely essential for the development of the student.
- Factory visits / Export house visits / Fairs / Exhibitions / Fashion shows may incur an additional expenditure which shall be borne by the students.
- Any student allowed to represent the Institute in any event will not indulge into activity, which will affect the prestige and the goodwill of the Institute. Any student found doing so will be punished severely and secession given by the authorities will be binding and final.
- Any advance taken by a student towards any activity of the Institute should be settled with the authorities within four days from the completion of the activity. To substantiate the expenses, authentic receipts / bill must support the statement.
B.3 Attendance
Learning at NSAM is based primarily on interactive methods of inputs and the student’s participation in projects, research and skill based experiences. It involves peer learning, faculty guidance and feedback, all that are critical to the student’s holistic development. Any physical absence in such circumstances would mean loss of learning opportunity and continuity, which cannot be replaced by self-study under most situations. In special circumstances, such as, pandemic situation, a student is required to regularly attend classes in online mode or as instructed by the teaching faculty member.
- A student shall be required to attend at least 80% of the number of lectures for appearing in the exams and 95% attendance for internships and placements.
- The Director of the institution shall have the discretion to condone 10% of the attendance in theory and or practical of any one subject (overall) if he is fully convinced of the students’ absence on grounds of ill health or for reasons beyond her control. Such intimation with relevant supporting documents must be submitted while student is absenting herself.
Hereby, the students are bound by all the rules and regulations made by the Institute from time to time. Any matter not expressly provided for in these rules shall rest at the absolute discretion of the concerned authority, which also reserves the right of modifying these rules as and when felt necessary.
